There is no distortion at all and straight lines remain straight lines . I put this on my 10d and my 1ds both and it kicks ass . It is half the price of the Canon 15mm . jdhill 0 #2 July 7, 2003 I use this lens on my D60... and have had some very nice results... there is some Fisheye effect, but not as much as if it were on a traditional film camera. Its a great lens to have in the bag for close up work.
