ivi 0 #1 July 7, 2003 Hi! I'm new to camera flying and I have a question. I made my own platform on the helmet and mounted a 35mm SLR (film) on it. Just made 3 jumps with it but have no eyesight, just my own manufactured release switch. The questions really are, what kind of helmets do you usually jump? Do you use chin cups to fasten the helmet? What kind of helments? Eyesights? And last, but not the least, what kind of settings do you use? Since I don't have digital, I don't know what the metering says at the taking stage. So, one roll was with f/8 and I think that was too slow. ISO 100. Thanks for the answers, Miha.

vdschoor 0 #3 July 7, 2003 It looks like your profile is way out of date, at least I hope so and you didn't stick a camera on your head at 12 jumps. Anyways, check out these articles by Quade, they taught me a lot about how to setup my helmet. http://www.futurecam.com/skydive.html I am jumping a Bonehead FlatTop Pro by the way. About the chincup, mine is a full face, so it's different, but if yours is not, I would highly recommend a chincup. Safe skydives! Iwan
