Deuce 1 #26 August 30, 2003 No Lori, these pics are for me and the good of the DZ. This passenger was not paying, and didn't even buy his video (we've had a rash of folks with just enough money to jump, but not enough to buy the experience on video or DVD. These pics are just me giving back to my DZ. I'll be unemployed pretty soon, so I'll be charging pretty soon too.
spencer 0 #27 August 30, 2003 What lens did you use. Have you changed the photo in any way?. Eddie.
Deuce 1 #28 August 30, 2003 No changes. That's a 20MM Canon lens with the 550 flash. Auto focus. I like it. It's more than the tandem passengers are paying for. The helmet, with the 10D, the 550 flash, and a 120 PC is pretty exclusive for a tandem fee.
skydog 2 #29 August 30, 2003 QuoteJP, Forgive me if I've missed the thread....but are you using your digital for student pics now? i.e. Tandem? And if so, how are you handling this differently than those that are using 35mm negatives in your video pool? Are the customers accepting of this new format? ltdiver I offer the digital pictures either as a print (they select a few shots and they are then printed out on A4 paper) or are given a CD with all the pictures on. spencer 0 #30 August 30, 2003 Is it the DZ that sells them and you get a cut, or yourself and you you pay for your own slot. Don't mean to be nosey.
skydog 2 #31 August 31, 2003 I pay for a "camera" slot and then the rest is mine. Given the expense of the equipment it doesn't amount to much, but I am skydiving....... BrynJourney not destination.....
