freeflyanvil 0 #1 August 12, 2003 Just wondering what people are using with their 10D's? Do the faster cards (40X) make a huge difference with write times?Vid "stons fal, evrysing fals, but doesnt on purpos change its flite pas an positioning..." fasterfaller 0 #2 August 12, 2003 Get the trtanscend card . It is a 45X and it is fast . We use the Canon 1ds at work and the transcend card works the best .
teamhypoxia 0 #3 August 12, 2003 I haven't had my 10D for very long but.... I bought a 40X lexar card for it and paid a premium. I've since tried other cards (about half the price) 4X or something and had identical results. If you hold down the shutter, you get nine shots at 3 frames per second. This goes into the buffer of the camera. Continuing to hold the button produces ~1 shot per second with any of the cards I've tried. It's been explained to me that the cards are now faster than the cameras and that the speed of the card matters only with a select few cameras, the 10D not being one of them
