KawiZX900 0 #1 August 12, 2003 pro bono for the Rob Harris Boogie. I've got a network that is going to bring 3 cameramen and an a/v guy along with the shows host (can't name show just yet) and the programming director needs me to find camera flyers who'll jump broadcast worthy camera gear, 35 or 16mm or high end dv (vx1000,vx2000 or pd150) or whatever it is that you fly that brings home the goods. every aspect of this boogie will be covered in depth, Rob Harris's life and impact on the sport, history of all three events and the competitors, judging, partying, music (and believe me when I say a lot of live music, "You're ears will bleed with joy at this event!" expect 2-4 hours of skydiving on t.v. to show your friends. So A) enter to compete, B) Professional camera folks please PM me and I'll give you the inside scoop on this, and please pass this information along. quade 4 #2 August 12, 2003 Pro Bono -- really? Come on! At least offer up the easy kind of stuff; pack jobs, lunch, slots, beer, cast party, stunt credits, crew shirts . . . Asking people to do this kind of work -for free- is weak.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
KawiZX900 0 #3 August 12, 2003 I thought all that shit went without saying... no good point Quade, "everything he mentioned is included" I'm sure we can arrange a (The Right Stuff) expose on the guys behind the lens interview and opportunity to plug yourselves, and I may be able to work it out with the shows producer to day rate you guys. "I'm just stoked to have gotten this far with this, and hadn't thought this one out as well as I have the rest of the event yet" I'll bring a day rate and the possiblity of lodging up w/ the shows producer, I think travel may be a stretch, but I'll give that a shot as well... KawiZX900 0 #4 August 12, 2003 let me know what you need in way of a day rate and what not, and I'll bring this kind of thing to the table. This is uncharted water for me, let me know what you all think, so that I can get an overall fell for what people expect. bbarnhouse 0 #5 August 12, 2003 It might be a good idea to contact the local talent in Eloy. Not everyone can fly camera for freeflying or skysurf, but there are many out here that do. Just a suggestion since Skydive Arizona is the venue
