blowswitch......they still make them, by a good bite or tongue switch, an adpter for the D60 a female jack 3/32 and that is the trick....

i have a blowswith that i used to have on a canon rebel . do I have to buy the adapter for the d60 now or what ?

A LOT of folks I know are using the Conceptus Tongue switches (including me).

In any case, you need to purchase something with the Canon plug on it and then make your own adaptor.

I purchased a Remote Switch RS-80N3, cut the cord in half and made my adaptor out of that.

who carries the conceptus switch ?
I found the rs80n3 , it goes for 60 bucks,
just to avoid confusion the one blowswitch that i have i bought from the dzo a couple years back , can i use it wiht this or not ?

If you didn't already own the blow switch I would have suggested the Conceptus Tongue switch.

I edited my post to include a source (Square 1).

I'm sure you'll be able to adapt and use the blow switch just fine.
