freefalle 0 #1 August 26, 2003 Does anyone put on a training camp for people intrested in getting into video? Maybe focusing on safety, setting up helmets, EXITS etc. It seems like you can get training for almost every dicipline of skydive except this one. Im working with alot of GREAT guys at my DZ who have been super about helping me out (thanks Ray Dutch) I've learned alot from them but I would be intrested in attending a video camp if there is one out there. quade 4 #2 August 26, 2003 A couple of years back I bugged the Airspeed guys enough that they put one on pretty much custom just for me and one other skydiver. But, since you have Ray at your disposal . . . ya know, he's pretty good too!quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

If your interested in a Camp, I am always available for coaching see me at the Dz and we can arrange a day for it. Also next time I jump, I might arrange it for you to follow us out, so you can see exactly what I am doing. There is definitely a need for new cameramen to learn the basic's. There is a few things that will keep you safe, exactly like you said equipment ect. But with practice flying a camera can be rewarding. Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of! Shooting members of Airspeed, plus the 100+ degree heat we opted to have the camp conducted in. All well worth it and one of the very best years ever, learning and all... Make use of your camera mentors, guys. It'll pay off big time in your video years to come. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
