JayhawkJumper 0 #1 March 20, 2003 I have an old style dytter and I was wondering what it means when you turn the dial to set it and it starts beeping and then keeps beeping kind of eractically. I couldn't find a manual on line.
tlshealy 0 #2 March 20, 2003 Chris, When you turn it to the left it goes off when you reach current ground pressure. It just goes through a regular warning cycle (5-6 secs). Then turn it to the right to set alt. each dot is 1000 feet. Blue Skies Tad

sdctlc 0 #4 March 21, 2003 You mean replacement 4 batteries. I ended up getting the 395 series batteries at RadioShack. L&B have in the manual for RENATA 399 type or equivalents and I guess the 395's are equivalant since they work no problem. I was suprised they were cheaper at RadioShack then other places I looked. I know all this wonderful information since I had recently pulled out an old dytter for a second helmet and was having the same problem with it. I figured it was a low battery warning. Put the new batteries in and it works great now! Scott C."He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
