bmcd308 0 #2 September 9, 2003 Rebel 300D is probably a better choice. More flexible. Not sure what has happened to the price of the G5 since the 300D came out, but at release, I think the prices were similar. Unless a G5 has dropped a bundh I would get the DSLR.
