Wags 0 #2 October 3, 2003 I plan to use my laptop. But I think for a quick view, and one that is big enough for everyone to see, I will use the video cable, and hook it up to the TV. freeflyanvil 0 #3 October 3, 2003 I quickly upload to my laptop via usb2.o card reader. Then I just run a slide show and let everyone ogle over the pictures while I'm packin' n stuff. Problem is, some people don´t know how to use a laptop, and start rotating pics and stuff (which are then saved = compression which I don´t want!) and I´ve even had a couple pics vanish (deleted?) , and have (sometimes multiple versions of)programs closed/started, which sometimes results in data loss on my part Also some people DO know how to use a computer and those can be just as bad..... ciel bleu, Saskia Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Let alone all the other tandems he's jumped with....... thanks jimmy... matt oh... and he doesn't charge a penny for it either. just hands them a print with the completed video. That's a guy that loves what he does for you... .... just to clarify,,,I'm not trying to "wreck " the "pix for pay possibilities",,,,, but when a student has shelled out for the jump AND the video,,,,I try to put a cherry on top of the Sundae,,,, by giving them a 4 x 6... .As for the 8 x 10's for personal friends of mine,,,,,again just trying to share the moment.... ( I have returned to my dubbing station after a skydive to find,,, everything from a 10 pack of VHS blanks, to packages of 8x10 Glossy paper, to packages of INK Cartridges for the printer,,,,all left anonymously,,, in graditude for sharing the photos,,,,,)....Now THAT puts a smile on MY face "Hey can I get a Dub of That"?????
