skydivejersey 0 #1 November 3, 2003 I am thinking in investing in a Digital Rebel and a Canon Bubble Jet i9100 printer. Will the Rebel be good enough to take high enough res pictures to allow me to print out A3+ sized poster pictures? Ta-Al.
quade 4 #2 November 3, 2003 Full frame enlargements up to at least 20 x 30 are no problem. Severely cropped enlargements, that's another story altogether and depends on the software you're using, how severely you need to crop and how large you need the final print to be.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
dragon2 2 #3 November 3, 2003 A3 should be no problem for a 6 megapixel reflex camera. I've seen pics that big from last years CReW record jumps, definitely okay. Although the lenses used are way better then the standard lens in the Rebel kit. Haven't printed any myself yet, haven't really made that much pics with my 300D (Rebel) yet. But last year I made a > A3 size poster with cutouts from D30 pics (only 3 meg), the poster looks really okay, if I do say so myself If you plan on selling those pics, I'd invest in a good lens for your camera. Makes all the difference... ciel bleu, Saskia
Wags 0 #4 November 3, 2003 I've got two 20 X 30's from my Digital Rebel, and they look great! Everyone that sees them is impressed. The pictures are from www.shutterfly.com Blue Skies, Wags
