Deuce 1 #1 November 4, 2003 I haven't baked my Bat rack liners yet, and I was told to put the whole helmet in the oven and then put it on. Yeah, the guy was serious. I've heard others have baked the whole thing, what are the pros and cons of this technique?

miller 0 #3 November 4, 2003 http://www.boneheadcomposites.com/faq.htm http://www.boneheadcomposites.com/baking.htm Granted, it doesn't specifically mention the batrak, but I pretty much remember NOT baking my batrak shell, just the liner. I would think if you baked it and deformed it too much, the clam shell might not line up right, and the thing might close funny. I personally had great success, shimming, shimming, shimming, and baking just the liner. Mike
ihateskydivers 0 #4 November 4, 2003 Dude, don't bake the helmet...just the inside.
diverds 0 #5 November 4, 2003 You can bake the whole helmet on a Mindwarp, Optik or Gunner. All other BH helmets you bake the liner only. Skydive Radio
