shindig 0 #1 November 5, 2003 First of all lets just say I bought the new Canon 300D and I don't like the Buffer speed. I miss a lot of shots that would be nice so I'm sending it back and getting the 10D but my neck is going to pay the price. What I need and I know it's been discussed on here before but I couldn't find what I was looking for is the remote switch for the 10D and what I can use. Your help would be greatly apriciated. vdschoor 0 #2 November 5, 2003 Shindig, Which switch are you using, and what plug do you have on it? I was unhappy with it as well, but now that I got the switch with the stereoplug I'm pretty happy with it. Of course, it doesn't even come close to the 10D but that's why I paid $500 less for the camera.. Iwan

psw097 0 #4 November 5, 2003 I agree. I was rather disappointed until I chopped up my tongue switch and soldered on a stereo plug. I'm a lot happier now. For the difference in price and 1/2 pound of weight I will not be complaining about the performance.
shindig 0 #5 November 10, 2003 What exactly does that thing hook to, the only remotes I have are for Rebel cameras, there all stereo jacks, I don't know what I have to do to make that thing work. Is there any cutting and tapping involved in this process for this remote?
Deuce 1 #6 November 10, 2003 M brother, I solder all my connections. It's bare to black, or whatever, (according to Quade) for the newer switch connections, and that's it. I'm ordering two new tongue switches this week to replace my downers. Damn things all failed on me. (Lucky I have two helmets!)
