cut away helmet

Recommended Posts

Hello...

just wondering if there are any video helmets that have a cutaway system build into them?? Couldn't find any info on the net.. Heard somwhere that some guys somewhere are building the cutaway system into factory bought helmets, but I was wondering if there are any factory build helmets with cutaways??

Best regards,
Uros

I'm only aware of two companies that offer cutaway systems for their helmets, Bonehead and 2K Composites. I'm sure there are others though.

Bonehead has a chin-cup cutaway mod for their Mindwarp, Optik, Gunner and Gun-Rak helmets.
There is also a cutaway system that is specific to the Flat-Top Pro and Narrow helmets that uses an additional hinge that must be mounted to the helmet.

2K Composites has a chin-cup cutaway system available as well. No picture of it on the web page, see attachment.

just a note: the flat top pro hinge is not additional but a replacement of the original (for older helmets) or standard (on the new ones)

Number 3: Tonfly

Good Helmets, cheap Helmets with optional Cutaway. I can't read anything on their website, i think its italien, even though .sk in slovakia. The owner should speak english though.

Haven't seen any of their Helmets, heard of them the first time this year, they are from germany.
If it does not cost anything you are the product.
