flyer299 0 #1 November 18, 2003 Has anyone had experince with the customer service of Sky Tools, the maker of Camera Eye II? The pin on my Camera eye II broke after 5 jumps. I just sent Sky Tools an email, hope they will get back with me. Anyone talked with them before? Are they pretty cool people?
WFFC 1 #2 November 18, 2003 do a search. From what I recall, they've been pretty responsive if it's been a product defect.

I have found that Pins,,, don't "just break".. they GET broken,, by rough use, or riser strikes, or getting banged around while on the ground,, or in gear bags, or in transit...or in the course of a jump...or just normal wear and tear .. even so... chances are you will get it replaced..... So why not BUY a back-up,,, as a demonstration of good faith on the customers' ( you ) part.... then you won't have to be asking.. "Is my Light On"???? jmy
lister55 0 #5 November 20, 2003 Mine broke after many jumps. Probably due to the way I had to bend the wire to plug it into my Pc-101. The PC-101 has the plug on the inside part of the camera. Anyway, I went to radio shack and bought a new 3-wire plug and just soldered a new plug on for myself.
