Digital video for beginners...

Recommended Posts

Is the name of a fairly large color book /magazine that I saw at Barnes & Nobles today on the magazine rack. The reason I mention it is because they actually had a section in it on Skydiving video. Nothing great but it addressed it and as added resources, listed Dropzone.com. However, of interest is that it covers a wide gamut of topics that range from beginner to intermediate level skills on many popular software programs. Premiere, Pinnacle Studio, Ulead products and Imac movie shaker to name a few. It is published in the UK and goes for 28.95 and comes with a CD with several programs, some of which are trial others are yours to keep. Again, it covers everything one would want to know about shooting, editing, sound, microphones, lighting, Special effects,Mpeg2, DVD burning and has shortcut cards for all the associated software in the back of the book. For those already familiar with editing it may not be something you would want to buy but maybe look at as it does have a few good tips in it that may make life easier.
