Notice to Deuce. I understand!

Recommended Posts

Hey there, Deuce....

After spending over 10 minutes with the BatRak strapped to my head (doing a "CReW-type jump for a Mr. Bill dive), my jaw ached something terrible.

I've jumped my daBomb for over 1,000 jumps and never had this happen on any skydive (including CReW jumps I've filmed). But the BatRak kicked my ass! (or jaw, if I'm more correct on the anatomy part of it).

What have you found works in these situations? Do you not tighten the chin strap quite as much and suffer the consequences of not having the site as accurate as possible, or is there a way of angling the balance that helps out?

Love the shots I got...just not the pain! :|

I think part of the issue is just getting used to the different chincup geometry. It's not bugging me as much as it was. I've also rearranged my camera/flash setup for less wind resistance so I don't have to push the helmet down as hard in freefall.

It'll get betterB|
