Help with Vegas Video

If you are capturing, you are probally recording raw DV at closer to 200 meg a minute. Thats the requirement to work with DV. Once you capture all the DV you can edit it and cut bits and pieces to save some hard drive space. Other wise for every 5 minutes raw footage you can expect to need a gig of free drive space just for the unedited video.

Yep what PhreeZone said...after capture you can edit video and then render it 50 different ways...format, quality ,size of file etc.. here is a great link to check out (besides sonic foundrys web site has a forum you can register for -they make vegas)
