grega 0 #1 February 10, 2004 Which lens do you think has the best quality? Or which one do you use the most and why?"George just lucky i guess!"
mr2mk1g 10 #2 February 10, 2004 I would put good money on the Royal lens and the way cool lens being exactly the same optics. There are a couple of others out there selling exactly the same thing. I bet they are all the same lens in different packets/mountings. It just seems a little convenient that they are all low profile, 0.3 lenses at virtually the same price. Deuce 1 #3 February 10, 2004 I'm in the US, and Max is a great guy who has given a lot to the sport, so I support his companym, Royal Lens. The lenses are exceptional, I still have my Kenko, but never use it. I haven't seen a WayCool yet.

ltdiver 3 #5 February 11, 2004 For a Sony digital I use Sony lenses. Fantastic quality with video. I have a Kenko but had issues with vignetting when I used it. I haven't used the other 2 listed. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

freeflir29 0 #7 February 12, 2004 QuoteI have a Kenko but had issues with vignetting when I used it. I used to have to zoom in a little to get rid of that on my Panasonic. I heard someone mention that the PC-105 was a little differen't from other cameras. Apparently that's true since I can't see any with it backed all the way out with my Kenko .43. I'm guessing that means it has a little more narrow FOV than other cams.

Got my Sony .6 by then. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

mr2mk1g 10 #10 February 13, 2004 yep - thats one of the other ones I've seen. There's at least 1 more that I've found in the english speaking world and I stumbled on one in Czechoslovakian so there are probably loads more out there that google doesnt throw up. grega 0 #11 February 16, 2004 Ok to sum everything up Royal lens or way cool industries has the same optics, but the color and the brand are different, that's why the price difference. So i guess i wouldn't go wrong with any of those? But i wonder how come kenko got so many voices, it has vignetes, and my .43 has very distorted field of view, especially at the edge. And what are those other 2 voices? what are the lenses you were thinking about? Are there any better optics than at royal-lens or way cool lens?"George just lucky i guess!"
