icevideot 0 #1 February 12, 2004 I am hoping this isn't true because I have been wishing for a pc 105 as soon as I can spring for it. I read somewhere on the forum that the a/v connection was different from the standard 3.5 plug. Can anyone verify this?"... this ain't a Nerf world." freeflir29 0 #2 February 12, 2004 Hadn't noticed that but yes.....it has a Combo S-Video and standard A/V plug. Doesn't seem to have a standard 3 ring jack. Weird..........Guess I'll have to make sure I pack that cable to the DZ. BTW...why would that deter you from buying a 105?
indyz 1 #3 February 12, 2004 It's not a big deal. They give you the composite/s-video cable with the camera, so as long as you don't lose it everything should be cool. Might be a bit of a hassle if you use a communal dubbing station like I've seen at a few dropzones. I've attached a picture of the cable. The end on the left goes in the camera, the ends are on the right are standard composite video and s-video.

We have the standard cable plugged into the edit board at the dz. On a busy day doing tandem videos it would proabably get old swapping cables. My girlfriends pc101 is pretty nice so I might just try to find a "new" one of those. thanx for the help"... this ain't a Nerf world." Buy a composite switcher, cost maybe 15 bucks, cheaper and more fun if you make your own. Then you can have as many cables as you like hanging out the back of your setup. If you look at that connector, it's at right angle in the camera. If bent, it certainly will break. I need a 90 degrees connector. I asked several Sony shop but the only have the regular cable. I'm in terrible lost. Any advice on were to get the connector would be appreciate. aaaaplus@hotmail.comSerge Dufour
 Faber 0 #7 March 20, 2004 QuoteIf you look at that connector, it's at right angle in the camera. This is in DK,and as usual they dont insure out of the country, but i guess if DK has it most other places must have it aswell.
