PhreeZone 20 #2 March 15, 2004 No, it can not. The IP can only exchange it with other IP cameras. Even IP camera to PC editing is'nt the easiest since only a few programs support it.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
mazevedo 0 #3 April 13, 2004 I have one IP-5 and it cannot firewire with DV´s, but you can record video and sound from DV´s camera using the RCA cable or the S-Video. The quality is the same and you only have to buy some RCA "female" plugs. For editing you can use the Pinnacle 8 or the MovieShaker provided by Sony. But if I had to buy a new camera, I would buy a DV.

S-video requires a Digital-to-Analog conversion to send, and then an Analog-to-Digital conversion to record.
