ConceptusInc 0 #1 March 19, 2004 Thanks for all those who have offered feedback and suggestions via forum and e-mail. I have been very bad about checking the forum and in fact I did not know I could receive messages (duh!). I have recently changed the design of our Tongue Switches back to a completely sealed configuration with a very low residual internal air capacity, a hemp paper (no joke!) reinforced diaphragm, and a consistently nice "click". All forthcoming orders will be comprised of this design. If you have any other questions or comments, please e-mail me directly at switches@conceptusinc.com. Keep an eye on the site www.conceptusinc.com for tech info, suggestions, etc. Thanks for your support! Be well, Ed
lewmonst 0 #2 March 20, 2004 I emailed you... I had a sealed tongue switch i was using with my 10D. I got the newer one, no completely sealed and it quit after about 3 jumps... saliva shorting it out? I had more tandem videos to do, so i ran and bought a bite switch. Glad you switched back to the completely sealed config. peace lewhttp://www.exitshot.com
turtlespeed 220 #3 March 22, 2004 I had asked in a different thread about a metallic taste when I was using the switch - Do you think that it is shorting out at the button?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
d15859 0 #4 March 23, 2004 I just recieved the Tongue Switch I ordered last week from paragear. Nice set up compared to the biteswitch, flat low profile, small red button on a square base. Now how do you distinguish a new one from an old one? Hope I have the new improved one. Thanks. gb
