extreme540 0 #1 March 20, 2004 Wondering if anyone of you guys has a success of shooting hi-res digital still pics from Small Non SLR camera and can describe his setup. Can it produce pics with similar quality of D60? Attached pics was made with D60. But it is a bulky and heavy setup. I am not a pro and would like to avoid any SLR camera on my helmet.Jack G. linestretch 0 #2 March 20, 2004 Yes, but I couldn't tell you what camera's they were. I've seen 2 different ones, and both of them, they had to open up the camera and solder in a switch so that they could do it remotely. Gravitygirl's husband has one. Try finding her somewhere on here, she post's all the time.my pics & stuff!
AggieDave 6 #3 March 21, 2004 Yeah, Clustermaster (that's his name here) has been taking digital pics in freefall with a non-SLR for the past 2-3 years. Crazy German (what we call him) jumps at Waller (SD Houston), so call there if you'd like to catch him.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Deuce 1 #4 March 22, 2004 Check out Madstyle.net. All those are with a Sony. I think Evan describes his set up on the site. Matthias Lundblad uses the Canon point and shoot with good results too. But those folks get frustrated with the DSLR's around.
