Deuce 1 #1 March 24, 2004 Stand alone and lickety-split fast and easy enough that even I can use it. Put your CF card in and a blank CD-R and BEEP your customer has a disc with all their photos on it. We are using a similar device and are now doing more digital than film stills. LouDiamond 1 #2 March 25, 2004 Yeah, I saw that a while ago in my catalog too. I would think it would be ideal for big or busy boogies like WFFC and Eloy where you have beau coup pictures and little time. It also avoids the dreaded Hard drive crash and all your stuff disappearing dilemma. Deuce 1 #3 March 25, 2004 I got an artist working on it. I'm sure it'll be done before the Herc Boogie, if nothing else. Yeah. You heard me right. We've been putting the digital stills on their DVD, as a slide show. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
 stateofnature 0 #5 March 25, 2004 How fast does it work? Fast enough to make load calls? How sensitive is the equipment in dusty desert conditions? Just asking, this sounds great, I hope they make a real utilitarian version to withstand the brutality of most video/photographers.
 Deuce 1 #6 March 25, 2004 Well, we haven't been using it long enough to say. Yes, it takes only a couple minutes for 30 to 50 pictures. Our's is sitting in an open cabinet in the hangar. Only time will tell if it's hardy enough for skydiving, but so far, so good. (Say, if I have 100 pictures on there, but only 25 are for this tandem). It looks very cool. Might have to add it to the list of things I'd like to buy the next time I get $300.
