AggieDave 6 #1 April 5, 2004 I had heard that it is possible to transfer video (not just images from the stick) to a computer via the USB as well as the FireWire. Although I checked the manual and didn't find anything that really applied, I did a search but didn't really find anything as well. So is it possible or firewire only? Yes, I realize the ieee 1394 would be the best, but usb is handy for me right now.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Squeak 17 #2 April 6, 2004 have you tried stting the camera up and doing it? I run XP pro and it auto matically detect any USB or Firewire products so in theory I should just find the camera as another deviceYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! AggieDave 6 #3 April 6, 2004 Yeah, I have, when switched to "memory" it picks up the stick, but I can't get it to respond any other way. I would think that the "vcr" setting would be the way to go to do a video transfer to the computer, but no dice.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." AggieDave 6 #5 April 6, 2004 Yup, XP Pro. Tried a few things, searched the web for answers, tried those answers. Decided to FIDO and just got back from buying a firewire card.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
