Pyke's TRV-22 set-up...

Recommended Posts

Alright...it took me long enough to get it "dialed in" but I feel that this baby is ready to fly...and so it shall this weekend (BEER!)

Here's the details...
*Large Hawkeye LT with Bonehead TRV-22 d-box.
*Cut out holes for the S-video and Firewire ports to prevent removal for dubbing.
*2 folded up business cards duct taped to the top cover padding to push camera down and provide more solid padding/anti-vibration.
*2 folded up business cards duct taped to the back of the box to press camera forward and prevent movement.
*Strap is still attached to camera for shim
*Box mounted with mounting hardware and plumbers caulk (not silicone!) added to prevent trapped lines b/w box and helmet - painted and glazed over with clear nail polish for added strength.
*Duct tape added to screw ends to prevent (further!) damage to camera.
(Thanks Phree!)*Factory installed chin-cup and strap

Any opinions/ideas?? I would love to hear them.

Not sure on what I want to do about the cut-away system...suggestions??...for now - I'm comfortable with how it's set up.
