Tink1717 2 #1 June 3, 2004 OK, I just started with Photoshop CS for Mac. I am trying to get the file size of .jpg images under the 60k file size limit. How do you do that without the image becoming postage stamp size? Also, why does the file size in "image>>adjust always come to 1/2 the actual size? Thanks.Skydivers don't knock on Death's door. jdhill 0 #2 June 3, 2004 "Save for Web" is one quick and simple way to get a small version of your .jpg without messing up your original... It is under the File menu. quade 4 #3 June 3, 2004 Expanding on the "Save for Web" . . . You might want to first crop & resize your images so that they're in the ballpark for viewing within most web broswers. Try 800 pixels by 600 pixels. Next "Save for Web". When you "Save for Web" find the optimize menu and set the file size to 59 K. This will automatically find and set the right compression ratio for you. This will give you a reasonably sized image with the proper compression.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
