quade 4 #2 June 14, 2004 You can save quite a bit o' cash if you buy Final Cut Express. And, you really ought to buy it too. I'm pretty sure you'd feel bad if somebody was just helping themselves to your images.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

quade 4 #4 June 14, 2004 There are a few differences, but non that really matter for 99% of what I'd be doing. Final Cut Pro works with any digital video format. Final Cut Express only works with DV25 (what we get out of miniDV tapes), but that's not to say it's a very limiting factor. DVCam and DVCPro are also DV25 and they are -excellent- choices for budget minded producers of standard definition TV. Then, later on when you get a big gig cutting video for somebody and -need- the extra features, there's an upgrade path to Final Cut Pro where all you do is pay the difference in cost between the two programs. Oh, and I'm not trying to make anybody feel bad or guilty. Just trying to put things into perspective.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
freakydiver 0 #5 June 15, 2004 Careful about asking for "help" on public websites. Just my experience. -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --
