anybody flying without a lens ?

Recommended Posts

I've done it in certain situations to either change the perspective or if I need to stay further away from the subject. I have not experienced the problems with camera shake the above poster mentioned, but I am very carful to keep my head as steady as I can.

any type of flying you do or any type of lens you have....its all about knowing your equpiment. If you intend on flying in the formation then a wider lens would be the kind you want. If you are just filming it and dont intend to participate then it all maters on how comfortable you are....if you want to be further away then a not so wide lens would be better.....if you want to fly close then a wider lens will work.
