sitflypat 0 #1 July 9, 2004 I have a TRV 22 and I would like to use it for FF. I just was wondering the best settings to go with.DFV-3332/ SCR-14639/ SCS-8185
quade 4 #2 July 9, 2004 Mine: Focus - Infinity (mountain icon) White Balance - Sunlight (sun icon) Everything else that affects the image is usually at the factory presets. Set your clock and your time -- someday you might find it handy. I like running in 16-bit audio.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

quade 4 #4 July 12, 2004 Yeah, kinda goofy, I know. Hold over from working professionally in post production. As I recall it had something to do with not having to render audio for some project and I just left it like that so I wouldn't have to deal with it ever again -- and I never have.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

quade 4 #6 July 13, 2004 Quote At dawn, would you use the same settings? Normally - Yes. These settings are are just fine through the entire day. The camera has enough automatic exposure and iris to deal with just about anything. The only noticable difference at sunrise and set will be that everything looks "warmer", but that's usually a good thing.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
oiseau60 0 #7 July 13, 2004 the other day we jumped really late and it was very dark. we had the same settings, but the result wasnt too clear, so i was wondering if there was something i could do with settings?
quade 4 #8 July 13, 2004 In general -- no. You -could- do a little something to the shutter speed to give you a longer than 1/30th but that's going to make things look bad in a different way. Musta been -really- dark. If you're doing night jumps, you might try the NightShot feature. quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
oiseau60 0 #9 July 13, 2004 It was very dark.... being in Canada, our summers are quite short, we sometimes try to squeeze every bit of jumping we can out of those few warm days... thx a lot for your input, i greatly appreciate it! Frank
