diablopilot 2 #26 July 29, 2004 The top plate is signifigantly bigger, large enough to completely suport the larger stills cameras. The Chin bar is a fixed peice that swings open making it a front ebtry helmet. I dislike chincups because of their inhearant instability, and this solves that problem. It will be a fun backup/special application helmet to compliment my FTP---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously. namdrib 0 #27 July 29, 2004 I have found this helmet to be extremely stable. Granted I am only used to a Paramount System 3, but still. The fact that I have a whoppin' TRV-19 with D-box on the SIDE of this thing has a lot to do with my opinion as well. I have about 20 jumps with this helmet now and have not found anything wrong with it yet, other than it refuses to figure out a way for me to make more jumps. Other than that, I am giving it an A++. Very comfortable, stable and kick ass looking. The Hinged Chin Cup makes it a breeze to take off once under canopy to give me the opportunity to be in every video.
