wanni 0 #1 July 25, 2004 Hi all, Taking some advise here on where best to mount my ring sight on my mindwrap helment. I have got a newton ring sight with a ringsight extender. Mindwrap has a curve on the top, so I can't really mount close to the top edge. That brings to mount about 1.5 inches from top front. I will be doing cameras for RW, tandem, and I also doing freefly - headsup (learning headdown) .. I am not sure for that setup if it would be safe and durable for freefly. NoPush 0 #2 July 28, 2004 I most often see it mounted here. You need to make sure the extension is far enough above the eye to allow room for the swivel and ring sight. Put the extension, swivel, and ring sight together loosely and find the best angle while holding the extension in the general area shown in the picture (on the side of your dominant eye of course).
