freekflyguy 0 #1 July 28, 2004 Picked it up today, but it will be a while till I get to jump it. Been messing with it loads trying to figure out which settings to use. What are you guys shooting in? Large/Fine, Large/Norm or RAW. I seem to get best of both if I use Large/Norm, that is good resolution and good cycle times. Can anyone tell me if the 18 - 55 lens that comes with the kit is 18 - 55 or is it subject to the 1.5 conversion factor?? BuzzIt's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. diablopilot 2 #2 July 28, 2004 QuoteWhat are you guys shooting in? Large/Fine, Large/Norm or RAW. I always shoot the highest setting the camera allows. Can't see a reason to shoot less (I jump 10D) QuoteCan anyone tell me if the 18 - 55 lens that comes with the kit is 18 - 55 or is it subject to the 1.5 conversion factor?? It's 18mm to 55mm. If you put it on another camera it would give you those results. The reason the standard has changed to wider zooms (18 vs. 28) is just exactly because of that 1.6 multiplyer that the digital bodies place on the lens.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.
