sabr190 0 #1 August 11, 2004 I know, you guys are tired of hearing about problems, but I think this one is different from every other problem I've read about. (Yes, I did a forum search) Okay, here is the problem I am having with my Cam-Eye. When I turn on my TRV-33 everything is normal until the record head goes into the standby mode, meaning the light (green) blinks as normal, until you hear the whirring sound from the heads, as soon as the whirring sound starts, the lights go nuts, flashing super rapidly in no set order. The first three or four seconds of power up are fine. I use S-video wire for most of my editing, so I don't think It could be the LANC port. I hope this makes sense. quade 4 #2 August 12, 2004 You need to drop a line to SkyTools. http://www.skytools.m.se/contact.htm I've been using CamEyes since they first became available and currently use them on a TRV19 and 22 (very similar to your 33) with no problems whatsoever.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

sabr190 0 #5 August 19, 2004 UPDATE: Just received an e-mail from them, they asked that I do a full funtionality test, then report back. That should be easy enough, considering it won't function at all They also said to return it for a warranty replacement. Now I gotta figure out how to get it out of my helmet, it's epoxy'd in "The needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few, or the one" - rehmwa

sdctlc 0 #7 August 19, 2004 My cam Eye has been great but last weekend I went to use it and it seemed to work fine. I went to use the buttonn to turn off the camera andit went from green to rapid fire red while I held down the button. It keopt doing this until I let up and it went back to green. At this point the CamEye was an indicator. It would not switch into record and it would not turn off the camera... It would however tell me if I was recording when I pushed the rec button on the camera... As a result I have been using an expensive indicator light... Wrote then and got a response that they cant tell whats wrong from my description but to return it to where I purchased it for a replacement. OK, I am thinking, I return it to the DZ who bought it from ParaGear.... How does my DZ get a replacement for my replacement.. I asked the company that is a response E-mail and have heard nothing back yet.... Any thoughts?? I guess it could be worse thogh, at least the indicator light is showing the camera status correctly.... Scott"He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
