StevePhelps 0 #1 August 20, 2004 I just got a new Canon Digital Rebel. I did a search for settings but only found film settings. Any of you flyers have favorite settings for flying a DIGITAL Rebel on tandem jumps?

Any of you flyers have favorite settings for flying a DIGITAL Rebel on tandem jumps? Set it up the same way as you would for film and you'll be a happy camper (and have happy customers) Mine, is setup with ISO 200 for film speed, and I generally shoot in Tv mode (shutter priority) with the shutter set to 1/500th Thanks, Iwan
LouDiamond 1 #3 August 20, 2004 I concur, those setting generally work the best for tandem and birdman for me as well."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING

jimoke 0 #5 August 21, 2004 I have had my Digital rebel almost 2 months. I shoot on sports mode. I have shot maybe 100 or so tandems with it with maybe 3 or 4 crappy pictures. sports mode with lens on auto-focus. everything is automatic......It doesn't get any easier. http://jimoke.comThe ground always, remembers where you are! StevePhelps 0 #6 August 22, 2004 I did that (sport/auto) Saturday for nine tandem videos -- whew, I'm tired, and they were all great!!! The last jump wa sundet or past and I switched to night/auto and it was great too! I LOVE this camera!! I sold the digital stills to 8 of the 9 tandems! In one day I have earned over 1/3 the cost of the Rebel!

tonyhays 86 #9 August 24, 2004 I've had my digital rebel since March and have been using AV settings for the most part and am pleased with the results. Here's a photo I took this weekend using AV. http://community.webshots.com/photo/100564151/178428643RzuwVh“That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”

Only because I noticed a grainy effect on the black areas - (Eric Boyd pointed it out to me)I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
