turtlespeed 221 #1 August 26, 2004 Have 6.5 I'm working on an ashdive/memorial video I want pictures to be shown behind a scrolling title (things that he has said in the past) I have gone through the help menus fore and aft, I am at a loss here. Please help.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
dragon2 2 #2 August 26, 2004 I've only used 7 and pro, but I think (hope) the idea is the same: Put the stills on the timeline one after the other (makes them clips of a picture), maybe fade them in/out. After that, put a title that's scrolling on top of the pics. Voila. ciel bleu, Saskia

Please help. Which part is giving trouble? The superimposition over the pictures, or making the rolling title? have you looked at: www.wrigleyvideo.com/videotutorial/tut_premiere65.htm... turtlespeed 221 #6 August 26, 2004 When I create the title - the background is black and I cannot get the video to show. it just goes to a black screen with words that scroll up. The words do what they are supposed to do - the background should be still shots fading into one anotherI'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

Title should be on "Video 2" You won't see the proper superimposition effect unless you (at least temporarily) render. Just dragging the cursor over the title clip will give the effect you describe.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. Lee846 0 #8 August 27, 2004 To make titles transparent you schould do nothing with the background in the creating window (White Alpha Matte) and leave the mark "Opaque" empty then you save it. To put the pix in project you should just import in there. Import>file>test.folder>testpix.jpg Just grab it with the "hand" and put on the timeline. If you put it on the field that is lower than audio track, programm will create new video track for this clip. It will be shown on the timeline as a short clip (depends on your preferences). You can animate it, or take other actions like transactions or effects. That's for 6.0 version. Between two evils always pick theone never tried
