lewmonst 0 #1 September 16, 2004 So I get a box in the mail today... wtf? I just dropped off my PC330 last friday to the REAL Sony Service Center in San Diego, and no shit, it's my 330, back already, repaired at N/C! Part replaced, mechanical & electrical adjustment, cleaned and all that!!! I'm so happy! Per my other thread, Should I replace the internal lense assembly myself?, screw the "Authorized" Sony Repair Centers - I will never stray from the real Sony Service Center again. SoCal peeps - do NOT use PVS in Elsinore, go straight to Sony in San Diego. woohoo, ok, off to the dz to test it... peace lewhttp://www.exitshot.com
quade 4 #2 September 16, 2004 There is also a real Sony Service Center in Irvine, California. Might be a slightly shorter drive from Perris/Elsinore.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
lewmonst 0 #3 September 16, 2004 Actually, the San Diego one is just south of Escondido, so it only took about 30 minutes to get there. Irvine would probably be a nightmare trying to drive the 91... But thanks for letting me know, i think i'll take all my future sony problems to the one in San Diego. peace lewhttp://www.exitshot.com

ltdiver 3 #5 September 17, 2004 QuoteI just dropped off my PC330 last friday to the REAL Sony Service Center in San Diego, Good news, Lew! The San Diego Sony shop fixed my TRV10 up as well! (after one of those independent 'sony repair stations' couldn't find the ailment for 6 months!) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
flyhi 24 #6 September 17, 2004 According to this Sony Site the San Diego facility only fixes monitors. So if they fixed your camera, does that mean that the one in San Jose might also be able to fix one? The map on that page really defines flyover country, doesn't it?Shit happens. And it usually happens because of physics.
