ChunkyT 0 #1 April 14, 2003 Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about the Aerodyne Icon container. Looks pretty good, but I can't find any reviews or outside sources besides its website. Check it out: http://www.aerodyne-int.com/ Let me know what you think. ibellis 0 #2 April 14, 2003 We have not begun shipping the Icon yet as we are awaiting final paperwork from our friends at the FAA. Therefore the only "review" you can get is from someone inside our company that has jumped it and of course we might be slightly biased. We will hopefully be able to announce that we are taking orders shortly. Delivery time should be approximately 8 weeks once we begin full production. Blue skies, Ian Ian Bellis President Aerodyne Research Corp.
ChunkyT 0 #3 April 15, 2003 Well, that certainly makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the response. Chad, Boston, MA We are creatures of the air, Our roots in dreams And clouds, reborn In flight. -Salmon Rushdie
Tonto 1 #4 April 16, 2003 Hi Ian, Any idea when you'll be releasing prices? I've heard rumours that everything will be dollar based. That's not all bad news for those of us within SA. We've already reached the point where a stock G3 is cheaper than a Vortex 2 with options. Blue Skies, tIt's the year of the Pig.
skybytch 273 #5 April 16, 2003 QuoteAny idea when you'll be releasing prices? "Street" price will be around US$1350 with most items that are usually extra cost options included. Last time I talked with Carolyn she didn't have firm pricing on options or know exactly which items would be extra cost.
ibellis 0 #6 April 16, 2003 If you are in SA, the best thing to so would be to contact Aerodyne Systems. The person there is Dave Macrae. He is a great guy and I am sure he will get you any info you may need: info-indianocean@aerodyne-int.com Lisa is correct though, it will be approx $1360 USD with most everything included (SS hardwear, articulated harness, collapsible p/c, etc., etc.) Blue skies, Ian Ian Bellis President Aerodyne Research Corp.
