humidity problem in dcr pc4

after one or two jumps with the pc 4 i get the humidity sian and the pc stop working
if i push reset it's not halping
the sain is still on after five days
the only thing that help is hot air
then the pc start work for few minutes
and the sain of the humidity is back
what to do?

do you jump at a very humid place these days ?? (my question is because in my mind Israel should be quite dry) or did you use it by the sea and got it loaded in humidity, and now maybe it's getting colder in altitude...

Did you try to jump with a neoprene condom around the camera (so it doesn't get too cold) ??

Did you try and dry it with these little silica bags ???

As I understand the humidity is in the camera, not in the lens/between lens and wide angle. Thanks to correct me if I'm wrong.

I have a pc-5 that was going into moisture lock in the first jump of the day, camera has about 650 jumps.

Humidity will eventually kill them, it works fine in none humid environments, but its too much of a pain for houston.

Needless to say, I had to retire it and get a new one just cuz it became too unreliable.

a quick fix for mine during the last days of use was putting it inside my car with the A/C running at full speed or the freezer and a fan.

depends where, by the coast (and its a long coast...) it can get up to 70-80% during summer which is not that fun

in israel i m jumping in the desert part of israel and also next to the coast line.
but the problem start when i jump in the desert
the question is can i do bypass on the humidity warning?
