Whant to buy a helmet need help

Hello everyone.

got a little problem in choosing the perfect helmet i whant a helmet with a side mount for a PC style cam and the options to put a still cam on top but mainly its the side mount PC cam that i whant. This will be used for freefly vids.

now if you guys can post some pics (your helmets) that would be great.

so far the one im on is the 1/2 rat from bonehead.

I recently purchased a FF2 from 2K Composites. Expensive helmet but apart from the lens it has no snag points. It fits well as they make it to your size and I asked around from experienced people and they said it was the helmet to have.

Almost forgot. I use a PC105.

If your profile is correct, you a) need to wait quite some time before you look for camera gear, and b) find a local cameraflyer to mentor you in your choices and to help prepare you for the task of safely flying camera.

I'll not comment on your number of jumps since that isn't what you're asking about, and plenty of people here will no doubt feel that it's their duty to offer this type of un-asked-for advice anyway.

I also have a pc105 (I LOVE it) and I have a Rawa helmet. It looks great, has no snag points and I consider it better than the FF2 because it's much lighter. However I would say that it probably isn't the type of helmet to start drilling into to add more cameras too. It's perfection for for a side-mount pc105, and that's about it. Very comfortable (I prefer it over my other non-camera mindwarp) and if you get the appropriate size it won't shift around at all.
