GeordieSkydiver 0 #1 November 12, 2004 I am know I'm way way off being expierenced enough, but when is it normal to start jumping with a camera. I dont mean for commercial reasons, just for fun.Lee _______________________________ In a world full of people, only some want to fly, is that not crazy? http://www.ukskydiver.co.uk

Merkur 1 #4 November 12, 2004 Check the related forum. This questions is several times discussed there with all the pros and cons and the general newbie opinion, that it can't be so different and the oldies opinion that it is.vSCR No.94 Don't dream your life - live your dream! AndyMan 7 #5 November 12, 2004 A better place to ask would be the photography and video forum. That said, the USPA 'C' license or foriegn equivalent is a good starting point. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

nacmacfeegle 0 #7 November 15, 2004 Lee, normal, or bare minimum? In the UK it is 200 jumps, a camera brief from an experienced camera flier, and an okay from a CCI who knows you. I think. Fun or commercial, its all the the same in the eyes of the BPA.-------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me. rhys 0 #8 November 18, 2004 500 jumps? dreaming buddy. here wae can jump from 100 jumps with a camera! 200 to jump with a tandem! you have been jumping for 11 years and have done 100 jumps so currency may be a problem but ask your dzso what you local recommendations are. there is no reason why you can't jump with a camera soon! it will probably make you jump more often!"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix
GeordieSkydiver 0 #9 November 19, 2004 I've jumped 40+ in the last 3 months. So I'm reasonably current. I'm not planning to jump camera for quite a while, I like my neck the way it is.Lee _______________________________ In a world full of people, only some want to fly, is that not crazy? http://www.ukskydiver.co.uk
skylee_pinoy 0 #10 November 22, 2004 GeordieSkydiver... here in our place it doesn't matter.... as long as JM's observes you're good... i did first video jump on my 14th... designed my belly mount. and on my 15th jump... i did my first jump video mounted on helmet... it did great... get a good coach. it's a risk that i know of... made my own ringsight and camera flatform... see pics. i now have 66 jumps and non of those jumps i missed to video. GET A GOOD COACH... but you know... since you're there... you should follow regulations there in your place. ***wake me up! wake me up! my chute won't open!
