bmcd308 0 #2 December 21, 2004 It is the latest of the Rebel series - it adds lots of great features for "normal" photography, but does not add anything I can think of that you would use in freefall. Its ergonomics are a big improvement over the 2k and ti rebels - much more like the Elan series with a rear quick control dial. It also supports some custom functions. martz 0 #3 December 21, 2004 I wnt to the store yesterday, and the clerk said that the K2 does not have a remote shutter release jack. :((=============================== Ourson # 5 impatient de sauter #
bmcd308 0 #4 December 23, 2004 My crappy and misleading post was about the Rebel T2, not K2. Sorry. The T2 is the newest Rebel. The K2 is a newest G. Added: The K2 is compatible with the wireless remote, so you could probably rig up something. I'd get one that used the wired controller, though. http://www.canon.com/camera-museum/ Brent ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com
AndyMan 7 #5 December 23, 2004 QuoteThe T2 is the newest Rebel. The K2 is a newest G. I'm confused. I bought a G-II a few monthes ago. I don't think the K2 replaces it... _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
bmcd308 0 #6 December 27, 2004 You are correct. The K2 has similar features to the G, though. ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com
