cgriffith 0 #1 December 27, 2004 I was thinking of buying the Sony PC101 to use for snowboarding and eventually skydiving. I have read reviews and checked it out in the store but I figured I would get much more accurate information from someone on this forum. Also which wide angle lens would be correct for this camera? I do not have my heart set on this camera so if there is a better one I would love to know
Superfletch 1 #2 December 27, 2004 My DZO has a 101. I have a 105. They are very similar. I like them both. I'd say you couldn't go wrong with it. Have fun. flyhi 24 #3 December 27, 2004 I had a 101, had a 101 stolen, bought another 101. Fun, easy camera to operate. You can find just about any lens you want for it. I use a .4 for RW, but also have a 2. for when I am not skydiving. Not sure you would want a .4 or any wide angle for snowboarding. It uses a 30 mm thread so either get a 30 mm lens or an adaptor. Either way it works well. Not sure if they are still making them, but they pop up on eBay from time to time. Good Luck.Shit happens. And it usually happens because of physics. cgriffith 0 #4 December 27, 2004 what about the 105 vs the 109?
flyhi 24 #5 December 27, 2004 Here's the thread from when I lost my first 101. A lot of those people said go 105. I never had a problem with either 101, but then again, I also don't know what I am missing by not having a 105.Shit happens. And it usually happens because of physics.
