Strap on PC330....

Anybody know how to remove this? It seems to be fitted onto a large bracket inside the cassette deck, and doesn't appear to be removable......

I was gonna use it on an L bracket.....does anyone have that setup or know if the little swinging arm will interfere with clean mounting?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

i have a pc350 and i believe it has the same strap. cut off with a razor at the post. cover the post with a small piece of gaffers tape so dirt does not get to the tape housing. hope this helps.

I think that should work. Maybe I'll fill that little hole with something more permanent.....but who knows what. I was thinking a little dab of silicone, but that's just begging for something to drip into the inside. Gaffer's tape it is.

I've got mine in a box so the handle had to be removed. Easy work, two left over screws, but the strap has to be cut from the other connection point. Small piece of tape over the hole -shizaam-
