aerialcameraman 0 #1 January 5, 2005 What is the best way to clean a digital rebel and how do you guys usually do it? I talked to a camera shop and all he told me to do was to buy a can of air and hold it back away from the camera and spray holding the camera upside down. But I'm not sure about that? Whats your ideas?
blazetailman 0 #2 January 5, 2005 whatever you do, DO NOT DO THAT!!! Do a search in the forum it was talked about before. I'll look for the site I got the info from.www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com
Deuce 1 #3 January 5, 2005 Yeah, I heard somebody talking about using nitrogen, too. I don't think you should be spraying any compressed gas into your camera. Just a hand bulb if you must. If the chip is dirty, Quade put a post about how to swab it clean, and that is the procedure that I use.

If you were to read the manual, it specifically gives instructions on how to clean the camera and the way quade explained is -not- the way for this camera. Read the manual, aerialcameraman! It gives instructions there. Do NOT used compressed air. I've cleaned mine several times, successfully. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
