BlueSBDeath 2 #1 January 10, 2005 My PC-330 has started to not record or records with large thick horizontal lines. I have a M-DV head cleaner tape, but it does not change anything?!?!?! Anyone else have the same problem in the past and if so what is the fix?? Thanks, in advance for "corn-structive" replies. lewmonst 0 #2 January 10, 2005 Arvel, That's called "dropout". It happens to all cameras, usually because the heads are out of alignment. It's an easy fix if sent to a Sony service center. If you purchased your camera less than a year ago, the warranty will cover it. All you need is a copy of the receipt. Go to the Sony Service & Repair website, and follow the instructions. I do not recommend the "Authorized Service Centers" after a bad experience with a couple. I recommend going straight to Sony. Although I'm sure there are good "Authorized" places out there, I have yet to find one. Good luck! lewhttp://www.exitshot.com

LouDiamond 1 #4 January 10, 2005 ARVEL, you cheap bastard(who loves you ) try using some new tapes and shit can those ones that have been re used a million times. That usually fixes it but like Lew said, you could need a head adjustment but then again couldn't we ALL use a head adjustment?
