SanDiegoRW 0 #1 April 19, 2003 Here's my new baby. Inside is a Tri 150 and a Micro Raven 150. I jumped it today, the harness is really comfy. Sunday is going to be fun! -Kenny

Even under canopy there is no circulation loss or pain in the legs/crotch area. The articulation is sweet and smooth and the dive loops are awesome. Not to mention fully loaded (evey option except stainless thread thru's) cost me $1250 and it was completed and shipped in 20 days. -Kenny

ECVZZ 0 #10 April 19, 2003 QuoteI jumped an Infinity until I got my Wings and I was not impressed at all. Was it built for you, or was it a rental? G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. SanDiegoRW 0 #11 April 19, 2003 Yeah I should have mentioned it was a rental and too big for me. But the fit wasn't the only thing I disliked. It had bridle exposure at the BOC and I didn't like the main flap tuck tabs. -Kenny
JumpCrazy 0 #12 April 19, 2003 QuoteIt had bridle exposure at the BOC and I didn't like the main flap tuck tabs. Sounds like one of the older Infinities. I have one (DOM 01 97) and you are right about the bridle exposure and tuck tabs. I think that the new ones are improved and do not have the same problems (key words here are 'I think' because I have only seen pictures)Flying Hellfish #
Unstable 9 #13 April 20, 2003 Sweet rig buddy, If i were jumping it and was about to impact the ground, i'd be sure to bounce belly first to save the container. Just out of curiousity, a LOT of people now are going to the wings. Most of the new rigs out at the DZ i'm from are Wings. Whats the attraction, price, service, comfort? Javelin had better watch it's back!!! =========Shaun ==========
SanDiegoRW 0 #14 April 21, 2003 Well, service is great for starters. The comfort is awesome especially in the articulated harness. It's close to the Javelin's design while still having a look of if it's own and a better price. Another reason I went for it is because it's made 15 minutes from my house in Tampa. It's extremely Freefly friendly. All the tuck tabs are strong, no bridle exposure, no velcro anywhere except for on the freebag. The dive loops are a really good design that I haven't seen on anything else so far. I'm the only one at my DZ with one, that's a plus. If you put the rush option on it you can have a custom rig built in 4 weeks. They had mine done in 20 days like I said before. Next to all that it's a clean looking rig, so I figured...why not get a Wings? -Kenny
dgskydive 0 #15 April 21, 2003 Yes, Infinity has fixed the things he was talking about. THey used to be made by Northern Lights. Now they are made by Velocity Sports. Kelly is doing a great job there. They are even cheaper then the Wings. They have the same options. The Bling Bling price (all they options) is 1229.25.Dom
cuchulinn 0 #16 April 24, 2003 Sweet! I was torn between the Wings and an Odyessy. In about 20 freaking weeks I'll tell you how I like the Odyessy. Great colors dude! Sweet rig! SMA#
hawkbit 0 #17 May 3, 2003 That is a great site 12 more days till mine ships... it's been my last excuse for not jumping more. I can't wait till I can take mine out for a spin. Nice colors ! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "You don't quit playing because you get old, you get old because you quit playing"
