I am going to buy a film camera and would like to ask u guys what to buy!? Id suggest the Aaton A-Minima (16mm). It's quality, relatively light and compact, easily helmet mountable. If only I could afford one.
 marcin 0 #6 January 20, 2005 Yeah, it could be expensive to cut away. How would one edit the film negative. Scan it, edit digitally ? And then how would it be played to benefit from the high resolution etc? Have the film processed, digitized, and then it's pretty much the same editing process as you'll do with your DV footage. So digitized and processed (say Premier or USMP) film footage subsequently exported to DVD or mini DV tape would retain all the high qualities (OK, dvd compression aside) of a film, like color saturation, definition? But then, because of the smaller frame size they would not display well on a large screen?
