Buying a Digital Rebel First camera

Iv been searching the posts but still have one or two unanswered questions, Whitch is the latest model, and are there any significant differences between the other ones?..... If I buy an 20mm autofocus lens will I be able to use it manualy, Its all new to me!!!

If you're buying a digital rebel, there's no "newer" version of it, only now they are also selling an all black version of it, so you can look like "the cool guys" that have the 10D or 20D

The 20mm autofocus (I think you're talking about the Canon one right? ) is a great lens to start with!
It is auto-focus, but there is a switch on it, so you can use it fully manual.

I use the Digital Rebel with a Sigma 15mm by the way, and I am very very happy with it!

Thanks for the fast reply, I read somewhere that one of the first models didnt have a remote port, It must have been the 35mm rebel,or I read wrong.

I think some early models of the 35mm Rebel might not have had this, but definately the Digital Rebel does have a remote port.
