vdschoor 0 #2 February 4, 2005 QuoteHow many shot do you usally take for a tandem and what do you take ... In Byron we shoot rolls of 36, so we give the customer 36 pictures at the end of their skydive. A couple on the ground when gearing up e.a. (usually around 5 or 6) about 20-24 in the air, and then another 5 or 6 when they land. Quote Also do you remove the still to shoot the landing ? I don't I video and shoot pictures of the landing, so I look through the viewfinder on my video camera (my stills are front mounted) and video and shoot at the same time, since the two are lined up to see the exact same thing. Quote How do you use video and still at the same time for the landing shot ? Thanks Yes, definately! Iwan
freefalle 0 #3 February 4, 2005 If Im shooting 35mm rather than digital I usually shoot 24 or 36 shots, I shoot a couple of gear up or of the passenger with family or friends before the jump. I shoot a couple in the plane on the ride up to altitude (if you do this make sure you change your settings for the lighting in the plane) I shoot the majority in the air try to get a nice exit shot etc. then I shoot the landing. I dont remove my still from my helmet at landing shots I just squeeze my bite switch to get the camera to shoot. If Im shooting digitals, I shoot in the same manner, I usually just end up getting a few extra shots here and there.
StevePhelps 0 #4 February 4, 2005 Ditto to Chuck & Iwan. I shoot digital stills so I usually get about 40-50 shots per jump.
